Pier’s interest in holistic healing began while studying Ayurveda and Thai Yoga Massage at Lotus Palm in Montreal. Following her certification at Lotus Palm, she continued her to hone her skills and enhanced her repertoire in other therapeutic modalities such as Tui Na, Shiatsu and Swedish Massage at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine where she received her Associates Degree in Massage Therapy. She continued studying acupuncture at PCOM and later received a Master’s degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine in 2014. She has had extensive clinical training as an intern at the PCOM Clinic with shifts on and offsite campus, including the Family Rehab Center in Oceanside, CA. She continues to pursue her studies in the Doctoral Program hoping to graduate within the next year.
Since 2013, Pier has worked as an Ayurvedic Spa Therapist, is currently the on-site Acupuncturist for the Mind Body Medical Group and a Certified Instructor of Ayurveda in the Perfect Health Program at the Chopra Center for Wellbeing.
With a foundation in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Pier integrates the Balance Method to treat a variety of issues ranging from Acute & Chronic Pain Relief, Stress & Anxiety Management, Pyscho-Emotional Issues, Neurological Disorders, Upper Respiratory Diseases, Gastrointestinal Diseases, Women's Health and Facial Rejuvenation.
Pier understands the daily stressors of life and encourages everyone to experience acupuncture to improve their quality of life. She feels extremely blessed and fortunate to be able to share her knowledge and enthusiasm of complementary and holistic healing with her clientele.
